Henderson’s, Surf Avenue, Coney Island, Brooklyn 1917

The Billboard, September 22, 1906:
“What Broadway is to Manhattan and what State Street is to Chicago, Surf Avenue is to Coney Island. It is the main thoroughfare of the town and is Coney Island’s representative business street.”

On December 14, 2014, the 440 Gallery will host a book launch for The Brooklyn Theatre Index Volume III Coney Island Including Brighton Beach and Manhattan Beach. It includes a short illustrated talk by the author. Copies will be available.

Postcard is part of the Theatre Talks Collection, please ask permission to copy and/or use.
At least give credit to source. We know that some people will not honor this but it would be nice of they did.
